Liz and her team were asked to help turn a tall, dark and narrow Back Bay Brownstone into a light and airy home for this family of five. While the brownstone boasted some beautiful original architecture features, the interior lighting was inadequate and the overall palette was too dark. To create a space that was reflective of the new occupants, we worked closely with a local contractor to install additional lighting; we repainted the interior, refinished the floors, and refreshed the kitchen with new cabinet paint, marble counters, a new backsplash, sink and faucet. We helped the client source original art, tapping our team of experts. Tapping our team of art experts, we helped the client source original art for ultimate personalization. Collectively, we were able to turn this dark and dreary brownstone into an inspired and cheerful home while still retaining the original character and architecture that made it so special to begin with.
